$199,000 per year for the 1994-95 fiscal year. This is somewhat less than the cost under the current contract with Community Trash of $210,000 per year which ends October 1. according to County Administrator John McCarthy.
The supervisors also received a proposal, but no bid. from BF1 of Springfield to contract to construct a waste transfer station in the- county and haul the trash out of county. BFI has contracts to haul trash to private landfills. One is in the Richmond area, Mr. McCarthy said.
BFI will be invited to present its proposal at the October Board of Supervisors meeting.
