Shelly Dennis and Trent Johnson were united in marriage on Aug. 21 at the Fredericksburg Baptist Church. The Rev. Howard Cates officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mi’s. Roger E. Kidwell Sr. of Flint Hill. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard, Johnson of Fredericksburg.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown made of summer satin and schiffle lace with a high-collar allusion neckline and offthe-shoulder puff sleeves. The bodice was covered with lace and accented with pearls and sequins. The open back was decorated with strands of pearls and topped a full circular skirt hemmed in lace.
