Drawing Lessons Offered

Drawing, in four easy lessons, two hours each, once a week-daytime or evening, Thursday or weekends. Small classes for adults with individual atttention, will be forming soon. Beginners learn how to draw, others brush up their skills, Call Lois at 675-3949.

Benefit Cookout Planned

As a co-sponsor with Ki Theatre of Crossroads 1993 Soil & Soul, The Rappahannock Faimers’ Association is holding a cookout supper from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9. “Come to our tent located across from The Gay Street Theatre for supper before the John McCutcheon concert. A meal featuring Rappahannock 4-H Livestock Club beef and lamb will be served for $5 per plate,” said a member of the Fanner’s Association.

Computertots Registration

Benefit Bake Sale

The ladies of the First Baptist Church will have a bake sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Sperryville Antique Market. “The public is ask to come and buy lots of baked goods,” said a spokesperson.

Horse Show

Old Rag Mountain Pony Club is holding a horse show at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3 at Hayday Farm in Culpeper. Classes will include short stirrup, pony hunter, horse hunter, jumper classes, fun and games on horseback as well. For more information call 937-4448.

RAWL Benefit

Animals benefit at WExchange during the month October at the White Elephant Shop in Warrenton. Donations and shoppers are needed. All proceeds benefit the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League. For more information call 364-2569.
