owned by Mr. E.I). Coffey, Sperryville. The creek flows into the Thornton River near the junction of U.S. 522 and Route 620 about a mile southeast of Sperry ville. The F.T. Grocery is presently operated by Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Jeanette Burke.
The three underground storage tanks were removed from the property in June 1992, after the gas station portion of the business was discontinued. Routine testing at that time revealed no leakage.
