Lewis Hitt
Mr. Lewis Thomas Hitt, 84, of Castleton, died on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at his residence.
Mr. Hitt was born in Rappahannock County to the late Delsie Butler and William Hitt. , He is survived by five brothers, Charlie Hitt and Downing Hitt, both of Castleton, Taylor Hitt, Turner Hitt and Arthur Hitt, all of Culpeper and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Weakley of Culpeper, Mrs. Lena Shifflett of Barboursville, Mrs. Erma Jenkins of Washington and Mrs. Lucille Dellinger of Alexandria.
Graveside services were held Thursday, Sept. 23 at Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Department.
