Sperryville Apple Festival
The Apple Harvest Festival will be held this weekend, Oct. 23-3 in Sperryville.
The Festival features singer John Jackson, the Hazel River Band, apple butter boiling, food of all sorts, paintings, photographs, crafts, sales, games, and more.
Capital! azz Sextet
The Capital Jazz Sextet will be the first of four concerts at The Theatre, Washington, as part of “The Smithsonian at Little Washington” series. The concert will be held at 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 16.
Led by trombonist Brent Wallarab, the group performs jazz standards, original works and popular tunes by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and others.
