At the Rappahannock County Planning Commission meeting last week, ridgetop development and Disney were the main topics of discussion.
As recommended by RLEP, the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, and Planning Commission members County Administrator John McCarthy suggested that the county have some sort of document to inform prospective landowners on the issue of ridgetop development and let them know county residents are concerned about it.
“They could be given this flyer as a source of information. We could point out problems they may be confronted with, such as erosion,” said Mr. McCarthy.
