Weekly winter practices led by guest speakers, Dr. Helen Poland, Sally Cunninghom and Dick Bickle, and hours of study paid off for members of the Old Rag Mountain Pony Club.
When they traveled to Northern Virginia to compete in the regional “Knowdown” earlier this month they came away with many recognitions.
In the junior D Section III Anna Kreyling, Melissa Bly, Alexie Van Buren and Elaina Thornhill won first place.
A team of Ashley Corbin, Dana Caldwell, Alice Gentry and Laura Kreyling won fifth place in junior D Section I.
Sixth place was won in the junior D Section II by Lars Lyman, Ginny
