Trading Post To Close
The Trading Post cordially invites you to welcome back Gerald & Cheryl Schenandoah, Oneida Iroquois Confederacy from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 26 and 27.
“Gerald and Cheryl will be our last visiting guests as we will be closing our doors at the end of April. They will be bringing a variety of Iroquois crafts including Buckskin clothing, Bone and Silver Jewelry, pipes and dream catchers. For those of you who cannot make it over the weekend, they will be setting up on the afternoon on Friday the 25. Many of you have gotten to know Jerry and Cheryl through the years and they hope you will take this opportunity to come and visit. For those of us here, as well, we look forward to seeing you; familiar faces mean a lot to use at this time,” said a spokesperson.
The Trading Post is located on U.S. 211, west of Washington.
Dance At Amissville
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be having a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, April 16 with the band Pure Country. For reservations call Sheila Scott at 937-4357.
Flea Market Planned
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be accepting flea market items from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 24 at the fire hall for the upcoming flea market to be held on April 30. Anyone interested in table space or for additional information is urged to contact Karla Miller at 675-1677.
CCLC Spring Bake Sale
A spring bake sale will be held at CCLC from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on March 30 and 31. Proceeds benefit CCLC and donations are welcomed. Everyone is invited to come and support the school.
Call For Entries

Pageant Planned
The Miss Rappahannock pageant sponsored by Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the Rappahannock High School. Rehearsal will be held at the school at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 7.
The contest will include girls ages 2-19 and boys from 2-6 years old. There will also be a mother-daughter pageant. For more information call Ann Markham at 987-3122 or Geraldine Payne at 987-8303.
Individual and family portraits will be available as well as a pageant video.
Spring Craft Show
