Easter Breakfast Set Come have breakfast with Easter Bunny and have your car washed from 7-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26 at the Washington fire hall. The all-you-can-eat breakfast will consist of sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, cereal, French toast, fried apples, milk, coffee, tea, juice and hot chocolate. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. A free childrens Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. Age groups will be children under 4 years; 4-8 years and 9-12 years. There will be prizes, baskets and fun. The Easter celebration is sponsored by the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
Car Wash, Bake Sale The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be having a car wash and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. Cost is $5 per vehicle. For more information call Connie Harris at 675-3389.
Walk-in Clinics Planned The March walk-in clinic will be held at the Rapphannock County Health Department from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29.
5K Run Scheduled If racing to beat the clock is your idea of fun, mark your calendars for 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9. The Culpeper Downtown 5K Run is scheduled for racers and the not so racey! Registration is $15 before April 4 and $20 the day of the events. The first 100 runners to register will receive a race T-shirt. Racers will begin on West Davis Street. Parking will be available at the Baptist Church, 318 S. West Street. For more information call 825-4416. V
