Rev. Nancy White, pastor, Amissville United Methodist Church invites the community to attend special Easter services, beginning with Palm Sunday, March 27.
Palm Sunday service will be held at 11 a.m. and will include a procession of palms by children.
Other services will be Thursday, March 31 - Maundy Thursday service begins at 7:30 p.m. and will include communion; Friday, April 1 - at 2 p.m. children will color eggs and at 7:30 p.m. the program will include a short movie, “One Who Was There-at the Crucifixion.”
On Saturday, April 2 - Easter story, songs and egg hunt.
Sunday, Apirl 3 - 6:45 a.m., Sunrise Services followed by breakfast; 9:45 a.m., Sunday School and 11 a.m., Easter Service.
The Cross will be adorned with flowers.
Mark your calendar now to participate in the Walk of Life to be held at 9 a.m. on April 30. The one and one-half mile walk begins and ends at Culpeper Baptist. The event will benefit Charlottesville Pregnancy Center, which assists women in crisis pregnancy situations. Call 8291004 for more details.
