At its regular meeting this month, the Rappahannock County Garden Club approved a recommendation of the Scholarship Committee to award a $1500 scholarship to a 1994 graduate of Rappahannock County High School planning to attend a four years institution of higher learning. This grant comes from the Francis J. Leonard Scholarship Fund, which the Garden club administers, and the recipient is selected on the basis of merit and need.
