The Rappahannock County Garden Chib will once again offer the Frames J. Leonard Memorial Scholarship grant to a graduating senior of Rappahannock County High School for the purpose of continuing his or her education.
A grant of $1,500 will bd awarded. The grant will go to a student enrolling in a college, university or community college.
An applicant must be a resident of Rappahannock County, a member of this year’s graduating class, be accepted at an accredited school, have a need for financial assistance and be recommended by three non-relative residents of Rappahannock County.
Applications for the grant are available at the Guidance Department in the high school. Completed applications must be returned to the Guidance Department by Tuesday, April 26.

The Rappahannock Department of Social Services will distribute USDA commodities from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30 from the basement of the Social Services office on Gay Street. n
All persons receiving Food Stamps will receive an application in the mail. This must be brought with you in order to receive your commodities. Anyone not on Food Stamps may pick up an application at the department.
