Ki Theatre provided a wonderful weekend of'theater for the county this past we'ekend.
“Open Theatre” was a two-night celebration of the variety of talents available here and in surrounding counties, but it was far more than a two-night talent or variety show. i
Both nights included a performance of “The Snowman Who Overstayed” by Claire Boiko, directed by Carol Lucking and Hallee Morgan, and acted by home schooled children from the county. The children were delightful, and the costuming, particularly of the dandelion chorus, was outstanding.
Another highlight was surely “Marred Bliss” by Mark O’Donnell, directed by Cathy Kiley and performed by 'Stuart Eiland, Tutt Stapp-Harris, Linda Heimstra and Howard Coon.
Nearly every line was a spoonerism, and double entendres were flying. A viewer was left amazed wondering how actors had managed to memorize such lines.
