Charter Includes
Rappahannock

The Fauquier Chapter of the American Red Cross also covers Rappahannock County. This Charter change occurred in October 1959. The Chapter has disaster action teams in each county to respond to single house fire and other disasters.
During the fiscal year the chapter has spent $7,754 on eight different cases, of these three were in Rappahannock totaling $2,785. These monies come exclusively from the residents of Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties and are gifts to the clients. The Chapter has budgeted $8,000 for this fiscal year.
We are in urgent need for additional funds for our counties. You may earmark your donations for “local disaster only” and that is the only place that money is spent.

Quilt Making
Course Set
Belle Grove Plantation will offer a six week Beginner Quilt Making course to begin Monday, April 18. Classes are offered at 9:30 a.m.12:30 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. All classes will be held at the house museum which is located one mile south of Middletown, on U.S. Route 11.
