The Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA) urgently needs sponsors. Of the 21 teams, only four team sponsors have signed up. Not only is this great publicity for your business, but an excellent opportunity to support our youth in the Rappahannock-Culpeper Fauquier and surrounding areas. There will be a RAA baseball registration for 16-18 year olds from 10 a.m. to noon on April 30 at the Amissville Fire Department. This is only sign-up day. Registration fee is $25. For more details, call Lydia at 937-5975.
RAA Opening-Day Ceremony will begin an hour earlier than previously reported. It will begin at 11 a.m. Again, all players, family and friends are invited to participate in this special day. For more details call Sharon O’Neill at 937-5989.

Ruritan Club news, Adopt-aHighway spring clean-up day is April 23. Coffee and “goodies” will t be ready at the Commuter Parking Lot near Hackley’s Sotre at 7:30 a.m. Clean up will begin at 8 a.m.
Also, a Softball Tournament to benefit the Ruritan Club is set for May 15.
