Elementary Principal David Smith presented the board with a plan for using the classrooms that will be freed up once the addition is completed in the fall. The band will continue to use a modular unit in back of the school. Remedial math labs will also be located in modular units.
The plan calls for removing the dividers in two classrooms making them into regular-sized classrooms. A third classroom that has been divided will remain divided and the two speech therapists will use the smaller rooms. Those rooms, are however, considerably larger than the spaces they have been using.
