Fauquier’s improvisation group taking off on the theme of gossip provided another Friday night highlight. i
Saturday night brought Virginia Scott and Bob Scott with puppets in “A Southern Mountain Musical.” All three parts of this program were of high quality, but perhaps “How to Make a Puppet,” during which one puppet made another on stage was most enjoyable.
“Frou Frou” was somewhat confusing, but the blended voices were delightful, and the audience enjoyed the participants clowning before the show and during intermission.
Undoubtedly the highlight of the two nights was Joyce Abell in Ken Jenkins’s “Rupert’s Birthday.”
Mrs. Abell began her stage career as one of the shepherds in Ki Theatre’s first production of “The Shepherds’ Play.” After performing
