With a little time and a lot of faith, these speckled eggs will burst forth with new life, one chirp at a time. God has given an innate instinct to the birds so they will bond and keep their family-to-be warm; and when the babies hatch, one parent will guard the nest while the other searches for food to nourish their little ones. Eventually, however, the babies will be encouraged to fly from the safety of their nest to survive on their own...or to perish.

Likewise, we are protected and nurtured as infants and youngsters, and when grown, face our future with some trepidation. Yet, we need not chance to perish. We can return to God's nest, for each Sabbath, as we worship in His house, our spiritual family is waiting-patient, warm, and nurturing as we all commune with the Creator, nestled in the love of God.
