and credits is far too long to reproduce, however, it is gratifying to see a long-time friend included as one of the two “ships experts”: Chuck Haberlien of the Naval Historical center in Washington, D.C.

The expeditions discovered and photographed 13 wrecks, and identified 12 positively. Ntimber 13 is either Little or Gregory, ex-four-piper destroyers that had been converted to fast traqnsports and had been lost in a “minor night action” in September, 1942. Poor Little and Gregory deserve more than just a footnote in a book that details some of the mqjor mistakes that put some of the major ships down in Iron Bottom Bay.
