where he studied with Neltia True, and is presently working on a Master’s Degree at Indiana University with Menahem Pressler. There he also holds a position as associate instructor in piano.
This performance will be a fitting inaugural for the school piano, purchased last year through the efforts of the Wakefield Country Day School Parents’ Association. The concert is intended as the first in a series of cultural events planned for Friday nights during the school year, during which the school will endeavor to bring to our area the very finest in educational speakers and performing artists for the benefits of students, parents, friends, and patrons of the school.
Admission is by invitation to parents, alumni, guests, friends of the school, and students in grades six through twelve. A donation of $10 for each adult, and $5 for each child is requested. Supervision will be provided for younger children who wish to play in the school gymnasium. Persons desiring an invitation may contact the school office at 635-8555. Tickets will be limited to 200, and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
