In a small mixer bowl beat peanut butter and butter or margarine with an electric mixer on medium speed about 30 seconds or till softened. Add brown sugar and beat till fluffy,

Add egg and milk. Beat well.

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

In a mixing bowl stir together whole wheat flour and baking soda. With mixer on low speed gradually add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture, beating till well mixed.

3/4 cup granola

With a wooden spoon stir in granola. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till golden. Remove; cool on a wire rack. Makes about 30 cookies.

They look like peanut butter cookies. They taste like peanut butter cookies. They are peanut butter cookies, with the extra goodness of granola and whole wheat flour.
