Meeting, Cookout Set

The Blue Ridge Head Injury Support Group will meet and have a cookout from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Paul’s house in Culpeper. Any head injuried person, family member or friends are invited. For directions, transportation or support call Pat Samon at 6753137.

Bailey Reunion Planned

The Bailey reunion will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Salem fire hall. All relatives and friends are invited and asked to bring a covered dish.

Bazaar and Yard Sale Set

The Pastor’s Aid Club of the Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville will host a bazaar and yard sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Mallory in Amissville.

Walk-in Clinics

Walk-in clinics at the Rappahannock Health Department include 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14 and 8:30-11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19.

Benefit Sale Planned

A benefit yard and bake sale will be held for Judy Staats Dillon (the mother of the young man who fell from the bridge on Route 229) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 18 at Normans on U.S. 522. For information call Mary Lou at 825-2679 or Joe at 948-3866.

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites ' persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening Programs to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center: 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 7, Program on health benefits of eating apples and other fiber foods by Helen Smith; 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 12, Health coverages for Seniors by Anne Stossmeister and 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 28, Blood pressure and blood sugar check by Marion Sharp.
