Chris and Sonya Anderson of Sperryville were treated like a prince and princess at The Inn at Little Washington last Thursday night.
Over this past summer, Chris was the first place winner in the summer reading contest at the Rappahannock County Library. With help from his sister Sonya, mostly her reading to him, Chris read 235 books over the summer. Books about dinosaurs are his favorite subject.
The winner was invited to bring a friend for dessert and soda at The Inn, and Chris, 5, brought his big sister Sonya, 12. Upon arrival at The Inn, they were seated in the .garden, resplendent with flowers and greenery. A waiter and waitress 'approached, and took their orders . for Cokes. ; After perusing the extensive dessert menu, Sonya ordered for both of them.
