Artistic Director Joyce Abell promises a weekend of fine entertainment during Open Theatre at Ki Theatre on March 25 and 26.
The Saturday night lineup, at 8 p.m., will be primarily an adult program, and Sunday’s show at 4 p.m. will be geared toward children and families.
I aurie Marshall, along with Mike Dunnigan, Carol Lucking, Nina Moore, Jeannie Drevas-Aplin, and Britton Wood, will perform a preview of Ms. Marshall’s production Stories From the Dust in the Corner, which will be presented in full at the RCMS auditorium on April 14 and 15.
The musical group the Eclectics are also scheduled to appear, with Beth Levick, Bob Treanor and Ruth Swenson.
An improvisation group from Warrenton, led by Helen GistTselikides, popular from last year’s Open Theatre, will be back to delight the audience.
Sid Gottlieb will read two poems. Rhymes From Mv Life, that evoke memories of his vouth in New York City.
Peter Hornbostel will narrate an upbeat true story entitled Onkel Theodor about his uncle who escaped from a concentration camp, and served under the Russians.
Joyce Abell will perform her new monologue entitled Katie Cocker, the story of a country music singer and how she left home to start her career.
