Our governor has signed a proclamation recognizing next week, March 12-18 as second annual Christian Heritage Week and may we of our community join other Virginians across our great state in recognizing the providence of our great God in the shaping of our nation by worshipping in the church of our choice and be ever thankful to Hjm who has richly blesses us. \

Dr. and Mrs. Charlie Wilson of Thistle Hill Bed and Breakfast spent the month of January with Mrs. Wilson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Willett in Jacksonville, Fla. One Feb. 18 Mr. Willett passed away and Mrs. Willett has come to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Wilson and Dr. Wilson. We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family upon their loss.
Evangelist Lacy Brooks of West Virginia will be conducting services at Hope Hill Baptist Church Sunday, March 12 through Friday, March 17 each evening at 7:30. Pastor Milton Switzer and his congregation extend a welcome to the public.
