HOME BUYERS We are seeing a growing trend in single-person home buyers coming into our office. Increasing numbers of young singles, single senior citizens and single parents are joining the traditional family unit purchasers, mainly because singles are an increasing segment of our society. Many single buyers are joining forces in two's and three's to become homeowners. The reasons given for partnership buying are many, but usually the bottom line is the financial consideration. Also, the whole range of traditional, af fordable opportunities can be explored for those singles who prefer to go it alone. In this category, buyers may find that a condominium or smaller multiple dwelling are within their means. If buyers have the skills or interest, they could look at older or neglected properties offering sweat eouity potential. Single buyers who nave realistic housing expectations can find excellent options worth pursuing.
