YCC proviSes gainful employment for 15 to 'l fiyear-old youths as well as an educational experience in the conservaTtiflji of our natural, historical and cul.tujjal heritage. ; « Duties include physical outdoor lalior and environmental education, clerical positions are also available. -Larollees work 40 hours per week for eight weeks. Approximate dates of employment are June 19-Aug. 11. The salary is minimum wage, currently^.25/hour. Enrollees must have \h$ir own transportation to and from the reporting location in Shenandoah National Park.
Applications are available directly from Shenandoah National Park or through the guidance office at Rappahannock High School. ‘ To assure that selections will not discriminate against any youth because of race, ethnic, religious and economic background, YCC enrollees will be chosen at random from all submitted applications. Enrollees must be 15 through 19 years of age. A ratio of 50 percent boys and 50 percent girls will be selected. ,

Sarah F. Roach of Washington is one of five graduate students at Mary Washington College selected for inclusion in the 1995 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Each of the students is enrolled in the master of liberal studies degree program at the college.
