By ROBYN KAYE
Rappahannock New* Contributing Writer
Four Rappahannock teens were among 200 teens who participated in the 4-H Camp Counselor Training Weekend last Friday and Saturday.
They were Mary Beth Williams, Amanda Brown, Julie Payne and Robyn Kaye. Helen Smith, Extension Agent, accompanied the group.
They learned how to be role models for the campers. The preferred class was skits, songs and games. It taught them new songs, skits and games to use at 4-H camp this summer.
Also participating from Rappahannock County were three representatives of the Chester Gap Fire Department. At the Safety workshop they spoke about fire safety and how to conduct a fire drill at camp. The Chester Gap Fire and Rescue Squad answers call in Flarmony Hollow where the 4-H Center is located.
