Amissville United Methodist Church will have Heritage Day this Sunday, March 12 to celebrate the restoration of the sanctuary. Following the 11 a.m. service, a covered dish luncheon will be held. There will be a historical display. Following lunch a video tape will show the steps in restoration of the 1861 building. Rev. Nancy White invites the community to come share this special event with them.
Amissville Baptist Church will also have a covered dish dinner following the morning worship service. Rev. Tom Everett invites everyone to attend.
Reminder to Amissville Baptist members, photos for the Church pictorial directory will be made March 13 and 14. Each family photographed will received a complimentary directory and a free 8 x 10 custom color portrait from Olan Mills. Additional portraits may also be purchased. Reserve a time by signing up in the vestibule.
The GA's (Baptist Girls in Action group) will be taking items collected for the Warrenton Girl’s Pregnancy Center on Saturday. Items for up to two-year olds may be left at the church this week. They hope to make
