Great Meadow is celebrating is first 10 years of service to the Fauquier community.
Now a center of Fauquier charitable and sports activities. Great Meadow has become home to the county’s Youth League Soccer and other Parks and Recreation community service projects such as the annual Fauquier Therapeutic Riding Program benefit.
It has hosted over the past decade some 900,000 people at the county’s annual 4th of July Celebration, two annual days of steeplechasing, Friday night polo matches, horse shows and wine festival each summer, providing family oriented fun and generating well over a million dollars a year for community charities and businesses.
