The whole world loves a clown. Why? Perhaps it is because most clowns “put on” a happy face. Yet, under the greasepaint, are the tensions...maybe even pain or despair. Many of us present the same image...laughing on the outside while crying on the inside. We fool others, but not ourselves. Where is the spring to our step and the laughter that crinkles the corners of our eyes? Yes, sooner or later, the greasepaint dissolves and we are left alone...or are we? We do not have to be alone. We need only to have faith in God's love as His wisdom works in our lives. In Matthew 27:20, the Lord promises, “I am w ith you always, to the close of the age.” Worship God each Sabbath and depart in peace. "This is the day which the Lord hath made: let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
