Three men were on the court docket for Rappahannock County Circuit Court last week for cases having to do w ith violation of probation.
Jimmy Wayne Nicholson, 35, of Castleton, was denied entry into the CDI program, which is a supervised probation program entered into in lieu of jail time. A letter from the case manager of the CDI program, Katherine Heritage, explained that Mr. Nicholson was turned down for the program because of his past failure to benefit from probation, because of his extensive criminal record, and “sixteen years of non-compliance w ith the laws of the Commonwealth.”
Because he has been turned down for CDI, Mr. Nicholson now faces the jail sentence of three years and nine months he was sentenced to in April for violation of probation.
