NOTICE OF INTENT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING: FIRE SERVICES TAX LEVY Notice is hereby given, in accordance with §27-23.1 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, that the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County shall hold a public hearing on Monday, June 5, 1995, at 7:00 PM in the Courthouse in Washington, VA, to consider the adoption of a Fire Services tax levy on Real Estate and/or Personal Property, in order to fund the operations of the Fire & Rescue Association and individual fire & rescue companies serving Rappahannock County. The fund created would be dedicated solely to the costs of providing fire and rescue services and could be expended for no other purpose. The Board shall consider this proposal as part of its FY 1996 Budget deliberations and public hearing to be held at the same place and time.
