Troop #200 is a new Boy Scout Troop in Flint Hill. We are chartered by the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company. We meet on Tuesday evenings at the Firehouse in Flint Hill at 7:30 p.m. we welcome new members.
In April we went on our first camp-out. Thank you to Dick Brady of Oakton for allowing us to camp on his property. During the campout, we found a small dog that was lost. We kept the dog until the owner could be notified and could pick up the dog. Thank you to the owner, Mr. Tony Trujillo Jr., for the generosity that he showed to the troop after he retrieved his dog.
Troop #200 has many activities planned for the upcoming months. On May 27, we will hold a bake sale at Flint Hill Square. Thank you to Dr. Krebser for letting us have it there. We are trying to earn money for camp and any donations of baked good or money will be greatly appreciated. Please call Ellen Joback 675-1657.
We are also planning a whitewater rafting trip in West Virginia for next month. May 19-21, we will be attending the Shenrapawa District Spring Camporee.
We would like to thank all the people who helped us get our troop started. Thank you to the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company and Doug McCabe, President, for chartering our
