Tara Beth Fisher received the degree of Doctor of Medicine at the commencement ceremonies of the University of Virginia School of Medicine on May 21.
While at U.Va. Tara was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and was a recipient of the Joseph Collins Foundation scholarship, based on academic achievement for a student interested in primary care and the arts.
Additionally, she was class of ‘95 editor of the yearbook committee, an AIDS educator to local high school students and a volunteer on the medical staffs of the Charlottesville Free Clinic and the Shelter for Help in Emergency.
