This is a community tragedy and a opportunity for the community to come together to help their neighbors and friends. “We will feel much better about the problem if we help in some way with the solution,” stated Ms. Roberts.
While the community is being very responsive to the early problems, funds are needed to help provide various kinds of assistance to the flood victims.
Funds collected by the Piedmont United Way will stay in the local area to help those effected by the floods.
