In Nursing
Shenandoah University’s School of Health Professions, Division of Nursing proudly announces that their Baccalaureate Nursing (BSN) Program has been highly recommended for accreditation by the National League for Nursing (NLN).
Site visitors for the NLN were on campus the week of April 11-14, to review the program and meet with administrators and faculty.
Summing up her accreditation visit, NLN representative Dr. Jeanne Paletta said, “In my 13 years of reviewing nursing programs I have never seen such an outstanding combination of quality students, faculty and curriculum.” She also commented that the community involvement demonstrated by faculty and students should serve as a model for other nursing programs.
The BSN program offers registered nurses the opportunity to achieve a baccalaureate degree in hursing in one year of full-time study.
