He was a member of the Skyline Chapter of the University of Virginia Alumni Association.
He is survived by his wife, Helen B. Graves; a daughter, Cecile M. Graves of Fredericksburg; a sister, Annie Lee Graves Clark of Luray and a granddaughter, Jennifer.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 3 at St. James Episcopal Church in Warrenton by Rev. Phillip Cato.
Interment was at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.

Frances Leake
Frances Leake, bom July 1, 1915, in Rappahanqock County, died Wednesday, June 7 at Overlook Nursing Home in Warrenton.
She was a daughter of the late Edward and Lena Atkins Leake of Rappahannock.
She was a. member of Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church near Sperry ville for a number of years an4 was retired from the Fauquier Dry Cleaners as a laundry worker.
Surviving is one sister, Helen Lj Smith of Maryland; two aunts, MrsJ Ethel A. Tyner of Sperryville and Mrs. Lois Frazier of Warrenton. 1
Additional survivors include; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-; nephews, and a number of first cousins. ;
Miss Leake was preceded in death by three sisters, Cora, Catherine and Madeline and one brother, Buck.
A memorial service was held at Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church on Sunday, July 2 with Elder Rodger Frazier officiating. ;
