New Area Code
All telephones in Rappahannock County will be switching to the new 540 area code July 15.
From July 15 through Jan. 27, 1996, both 703 and 540 area codes will work for these phone lines. After Jan. 27 only the 540 area code will work.
Sewer Line Testing
Property Owners in Sperryvi lie are reminded that smoke testing of the sewer lines will begin next Tuesday, July 18 and continue for the next two weeks.

Rep's Rep To Visit
Karen Bowling Foster, from Congressman Wolfs office, will be in Rappahannock County from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19 at the Cooperative Extension Service Office in Washington.
Mrs. Foster will be available to talk to constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature.
