gingers, curry, mustard seed, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Bring to boil and boil, stirring occasionally, for ten minutes, or until it is very thick. Add peaches and any juices which have accumulated in the bowl. Bring syrup to boil and simmer, stirring, for five minutes or until syrup is very thick. Transfer to serving bowl, let cool and chill, covered. Makes about four cups.
