Oscar Dodson, Sr.
Mr. Oscar Dodson Sr., 93, of Slate Mills died on July 4 at the Blue Ridge Christian Home in Bealeton.
He was born in Slate Mills on Sept. 24, 19Q1, to the late Mary Lou Sisk and Wise Dodson.
Mr. Dodson was a farmer in Rappahannock County.
He is survived by one son, Oscar Dodson Jr. of Slate Mills and two sisters, Lovie Dodson of Culpeper and Vera Partlow of Griffinsburg.
Graveside services were held on Friday, July 7 in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Eaton officiating.

Lottie Johnston
Mrs. Lottie Deco Johnston, 89, of Culpeper, formerly of Boston died on Friday, July 7 at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Karnes of Culpeper, where she made her home in recent years.
A native of Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Charles Eston and Deco Ella Kinsey Carter and the w idow of George Amos Johnston. She was a methodist.
