Primitive Baptist meetings set Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church will be having their annual Union Meeting, Saturday, Aug. 2. Singing service begins at 10 a.m. Elder Stanley Cadie of Craigsville, West Virginia, along with a number of local ministers will be present. Lunch will be served with services continuing into the afternoon. On Wednesday evening, Aug. 13, Elder Rabin Lord from Georgia will be preaching at Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church. Singing begins at 6 p.m. “Everyone is welcome and cordially invited to come and bet with us to hear from these able ministers,” said a spokesperson.
