The Sperryville United Methodist Church along with Flint Hill United Methodist Church and Willis Chapel United Methodist Church held their annual picnic Sunday at the 4-H Center in Front Royal. Rev. Merlin Shorb preached a wonderful service. Everyone enjoyed lots of good food, good fellowship and a fun afternoon of swimming. Approximately 30 adults and children attended this joyous occasion from Sperryville.

Mrs. Helen Coffey returned home on Monday after having hip surgery at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Richard Jenkins, Amy Wharton and Amanda of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins and Angie.

Richard, Amy and Amanda also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Pullen and Ashleigh in Washington.

Miss Heather Aylor and Lee /Ayers of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor.

Mrs. Ethel Jenkins and Connie of Aroda and Mrs. Thelma Jenkins visited Cecil Buracker in Luray on Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Baldwin and David were Monday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Pullen and Ashleigh in Washington.
