old days of economic stagnation, welfare dependency, moral relativism, mediocre education and revolving-door prisons. As Attorney General, I promise you that I will aggressively fight to protect the gains that we have made. If the left wants to restore easy parole, roll back welfare reform or repeal parental notification, they will have to come through me.
The primary campaign has left us tired but excited. It was wonderful to travel to all corners of Virginia, to meet so many new friends and to learn about the needs and strengths of each of the Commonwealth's regions. We definitely have a head start on our opponent.
Over the next few months, Cynthia, the children and I will retrace our steps and visit with each of you again. We look forward to seeing you.
