Amissville resident Bob Duxbury just returned home from an eight day, seventy-one mile white water rafting, trip of the wild and scenic Rogue River in southwest Oregon. This was the first time Bob and six of his friends had run this river with its Class III, IV, and V rapids.
I hope you had a chance to take in some of the events at the 1997 Culpeper-MadisonRappahannock Farm Show at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises. Hats off to all of the 4-H youth who display such patience in the grooming and showing of their animals. The exhibits in all events were fantastic! It definitely gave us something to do other than complain about the heat.
