The group has raised money for the local playground and provided child habitats there. The group still meets Thursday mornings in the park. Carol has stepped aside and moved on to other pursuits since her children are older now.
She worked at the Fauquier Free Clinic, which serves Rappahannock as well, and helped low income mothers by providing birthing classes and health and health care classes
