Margaret Bailey

Margaret Mary Bailey, 72, of Culpeper, died on Wednesday, July 23 at her residence.

Mrs. Bailey was bom on April 23, 1925 in Waterloo in Culpeper County, to the late Harvey Sutphin and Edith Ruth Hume Sutphin.

She was a member of Amissville United Methodist Church, and a homemaker and nanny to many children in the Culpeper area.

Survivors include one daughter Lecial Ann Bailey of Culpeper; one son Larry Wilson Bailey of Culpeper; one sister Edna Finchum of Warrenton and one brother Harvey Sutphin of Amissville.

She is also survived by one granddaughter Rebecca Rae Backe of Culpeper.

She was preceded in death by a sister Lucille Goff.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 27 at Found & Sons Chapel with the Rev. John Burke officiating.

Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
