The county’s emergency response system consists of two distinct parts. Emergency telephone calls come into the sheriff’s office to a dispatcher on what is known as the Liberty console. This is the “enhanced” part of E911. The system automatically displays the caller’s phone number and physical address, even if the caller cannot communicate.
