The young boy grabbed that bag of toys from me while my helper, Jerrell “Buck” Freeman, handed the lady the ham. “So many thanks!” the lady said as we walked away and she started to cry.
The many families Buck and I helped made us feel warm inside. I’ll never forget that little boys eyes as he thanked “Santa” for not forgetting his family. Even he knew, believed, that Santa was busy too.
